Item Info
About the product: About the product Manufacturer Citizen Model Homer Railroad Watch Steel (SS) Light Blue Dial Southeast Tetsu 229 1977 (Showa 52) Movement Hand Winding Cal.0911 Case Steel (SS) 36mm Bracelet Strap Cassis SS Pin Buckle Cassis Leather Strap Unused Accessories Original Packing Dial [Light Blue]: Color Changes, slight deterioration over time on the surface [Some scratches (can be removed by polishing)]: Remains of original machined marks [Overhauled]: Clean. Comment From 1965 until it was privatized, Japan National Railways (JR) adopted the Citizen Homer as a standard watch for JNR. The highly visible Arabic numerals have a white dial and a light blue dial, and luminous paint is used. Unlike popular products, the Cal.0911 that is mounted is chronometer-grade, and is equipped with a second control device (hack mechanism), and JNR's thorough time management comes to mind. It is not commercially available, and there are paid watches on the market. Here, the dial changes color to yellow-green due to aging, making it a gentle color close to the color of the back of the leaf. I also chose a dark green leather strap to match the dial. From the “Southeast Railway” stamp on the back cover, it seems that it was managed by the Kanto-Tokai area railway bureau and the Tokyo Minami Railway Administration. There is a scratch on the case, but the CTZ mark on the crown also clearly remains. Also, the dial is very beautiful, and the needle is in such good condition that the night light still shines, so I highly recommend it.
